JOB TITLE: RECOVERY COORDINATOR DUBLIN NORTH CITY AND COUNTY

SALARY: Salary dependent on education and experience

HOURS: 9am – 5pm ( * hours) Monday – Friday.
Flexibility is expected for some relevant evening and/or weekend

REPORTS TO: CEO

LOCATION: The location of the role is to be confirmed but will be
based in North Dublin. The role, duties, and location are liable to
change in line with the need and/or expansion of services

RESPONSIBLE FOR: The efficient and effective coordination of recovery
housing services in Dublin North City and County (CHO9)

CONTEXT

Helping individuals to build their recovery capital, where housing
(safe place to live) is at the heart of the continuum of care model.
Where accommodation is cantered on the individual and their needs at
each stage in their personal recovery pathway. The role will liaise
with a range of important stakeholders including but not limited to:

* Voluntary Housing Bodies
* Approved Housing Bodies
* Residential Therapeutic Treatment Centres
* Recovery Academy Ireland
* Probation Services
* Section * Drug and Alcohol Projects
* Social Inclusion
* HSE Integrated Alcohol Service
* HSE OST Clinics
* HSE Addiction / Recovery Services

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Working as part of the overall Frontline Team and under the guidance
of the CEO the main focus of responsibility is the efficient and
effective coordination of Recovery Housing Services and tenancy in
Dublin North City and County. This work will be carried out in close
partnership with Social Inclusion & Addiction Services and relevant
stakeholders.

This is a key role for Frontline Make Change and the successful
candidate will work across the addiction brief of the organisation in
all directorates. The key aspects of this role include but are not
limited to:

* Developing recovery housing pathway’s in line with the Scottish
Housing Model for use in both HSE and section **Apply on the
website**-funded drug services
* Scope the potential for and develop of supports, work-related
initiatives for individuals with a background of addiction and/or in
the stages of recovery, including but not limited to further
education, community employment, and pathways to employment / social
enterprise
* This focused will be moving individuals through the recovery
housing tiers from fully supported housing to independent living,
whilst at the same time assessing supports required to ensure
individual have a successful transition through the housing tiers
* Support the development of a Recovery Housing network
* The post will also include supporting general day-to-day
operations and coordination of service provision

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL 

* Degree in Social Care / professional Qualification in Addiction
* Post-Qualifying Training in Drug and/or Alcohol Treatment

DESIRABLE

* Addiction and Social Inclusion Specialisation
* Accredited membership of relevant bodies
* Comprehensive understanding and experience working within the
addiction field

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

* Leadership qualities with experience in a wide range of clinical
issues (within an addiction agency/service provider setting)
* 5 years of relevant Housing Service Coordination and/or project
management experience
* Experience in ‘recovery housing’ focused working

DESIRABLE

* An understanding of different clinical evidence-based models and
approaches to recovery and how they may impact positively the work at
Frontline Make Change
* Experience and/or knowledge of change management especially in the
context of service delivery/expansion

CLINICAL GOVERNANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT

ESSENTIAL 

* Experience in clinical governance/risk management
* Experience in implementing and complying with policies and
procedures

DESIRABLE

* Experience in maintaining professional clinical standards in line
with the requirements of relevant regulatory bodies

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

ESSENTIAL 

* Experience working off own initiative, including self-directed
work and reporting/data management and analysis whilst working under
the values and strategic goals of Frontline Make Change
* Ability to think and work strategically and
problem-solving/solution-focused thinking
* Excellent communication skills including being a brand ambassador
of Frontline Make Change
* The Management of Recovery Housing allocation in line with
identifying gaps and blocks along a recovery pathway as they arise.

DESIRABLE 

* Experience working within the statutory and/or voluntary sector
* Building and maintaining positive working relationships with
Stakeholders
